The FTG-40-SS brings the same 400 x 450mm enamelled griddle plate as its electric FTE-40-SS sibling, but runs on gas rather than mains power, heating across the same 0°C to 300°C range. At 17kg it's a touch lighter than the electric version, and running off gas rather than a dedicated electrical circuit can suit kitchens where gas is already piped to the line but spare electrical capacity is tight.
