Where the FTE-40-SS covers a single enamelled plate, the FTE-60-SS steps up to a 600 x 450mm double griddle plate, drawing on two 230/1N circuits rather than one to heat the larger surface across the same 0°C to 300°C range. At 29kg it's still a counter-top unit rather than a floor-standing appliance, but the extra plate area suits kitchens that need to run two items side by side — say bacon and eggs, or two different orders — without waiting for a single small plate to clear.

Like the rest of Diamond's enamelled griddle line, the surface resists sticking and wipes down quickly between covers, which keeps a breakfast or short-order service moving. It carries Diamond's one year parts warranty.
