This bronze die, code 9P, is set up for Spaghetti (1.9mm) on a Diamond pasta extruder. It's a classic long strand pasta, and the die's bore size is what sets the finished strand's diameter. Unlike Teflon dies, which push out a smooth, slick strand, bronze drags on the dough just enough to leave a matte, textured surface for sauce to grip.
