This is the taller 50cm version of hawos's 30mm Glass Tube Silo, holding 8.8 litres against the 6.5-litre capacity of the shorter 37cm silo in the same diameter. The 30mm outlet is built for finer grains and seeds, where a narrow, steady flow matters more than raw throughput, and the lever action lets you release grain in short controlled bursts rather than an uncontrolled dump. Being glass, the tube doubles as a stock gauge – no lifting it down or unscrewing a lid to check how much you've got left or whether damp or pests have gotten in. Footprint stays compact at 15 x 15cm, so the extra height is the only real trade-off for the added capacity. Works equally well as a single silo or lined up with others.
