The Chefs Range DH40 is a 40 litre spiral mixer, sitting above the 30 litre DH30 and below the 50 litre DH50 in the standard-control DH series. At this capacity it's suited to busier bakeries or kitchens producing bread in larger daily volumes, still using the same spiral hook and rotating bowl mechanism that develops dough gently without the overheating risk associated with some other mixer types at higher speeds. Being part of the DH rather than HX series, it doesn't include the programmable variable speed controls or dough heat sensor fitted to the equivalent HX40, making it a simpler and more affordable option for kitchens that don't need that level of control.
