AL/9S covers the 9 litre bowl size in Diamond's regular knife range, one step up from the 6 litre AL/6S. As the plain-bladed, general-purpose option, it gives an even, all-round chop rather than the more aggressive cut of the serrated AC range or the fine, smooth finish of the emulsifying AM blades. At 9 litres it suits a reasonably sized batch without stepping up to the largest 15 litre bowl. Diamond's one-year parts-only warranty applies. It's supplied as a replacement blade rather than a full bowl cutter, so it's worth confirming it matches the machine it's being fitted to.
