Hawos offers its Novum electric grain mill in a run of six colours, and this is the green version – same mill, same price point as the rest of the range, just a different finish on the housing. Like every Novum, it grinds whole grains into flour on demand, which keeps flour fresher than stock that's been milled and bagged well in advance. It's an electric, fixed-position mill rather than a hand-cranked one, so factor in worktop space near a plug. Worth considering the green finish if you want the mill to stand out on the counter rather than blend in with everything else.
