Where the lever version of hawos's Glass Tube Silo uses a pull action, this one runs off a bracket-mounted flap at the base of the tube – flip it and grain flows, flip it back and the tube reseals. The 30mm outlet is suited to finer grains and seeds, giving you a controlled trickle rather than a dump of stock into your mixing bowl. At 8.8 litres, it holds meaningfully more than the smaller 37cm-tall silos in the range, in a 15 x 15 x 50cm frame that still sits comfortably on a worktop or open shelf. Because the tube's glass, you can see stock levels and check for damp or pests at a glance, without opening anything up. Useful as a standalone unit or as part of a row of silos.
